On 9 October 2024, Prof. H.F. Leung conducted a CPD event on “The Construction Industry Security of Payment Bill – An Introduction to Statutory Adjudication” for the Young Surveyors Group of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS). The talk highlights the framework of the proposed legislation and the system of adjudication provided in the bill. The new form of ADR will form the major means for resolving construction payment disputes, and the talk attracted more than 200 audience.
