Mediation Accreditation

Students who are interested in dispute resolution may choose to study a number of relevant courses offered (LAW314 Commercial Dispute Resolution, GEB202 Getting People to Say Yes: Negotiation and Mediation). These courses provide good foundation for those who aspire to advance themselves to become accredited mediators.

Students and graduates may choose to study a 40-hour accredited mediation training as a first step in acquiring the status of accredited general mediator. Mr Iu Ting Kwok, a solicitor and a distinguished mediator in town, has offered scholarships to our students or graduates to participate in the accredited mediation training. The completion of this 40-hours training is recognized as the completion of Stage 1 training of the Hong Kong Mediation Accreditation Association Limited.
