Corporate Governance Paper Competition and Presentation Awards 2025

On September 6, 2025, the student team -- comprising Karah Singh, Bella Lin and Natalie Wong -- earned notable recognition by securing second runner-up in paper witing and first runner-up in paper presentation at the Corporate Governance Paper Competition and Presentation Awards 2025, organized by the Hong Kong Chatered Governance Institute (HKCGI).

In June 2025, the students dedicated their time and effort to completing their paper titled "Is Corporate Governance a Driver for Corporate Growth: A Typology," which led to their selection as one of six finals in the competition. They were the only team from a self-financing university. To prepare for the final presentation, they held numerous practice sessions and mock presentations, refining their skills. This process provided them with valuable experience in academic writing and presentation delivery.
