The Department of Law and Business has a dedicated Moot Court comprising judges’ chambers, a courtroom with a bench for three judges, a court associate bench, counsel benches and an audience area with more than 30 seats. The court has a comprehensive audio-visual system for training and teaching purposes, including audio and video recording and playback devices.

The design and construction of the Moot Court closely resembles the setup of the High Court of Hong Kong. It provides a formal venue for the training of advocacy skills and mooting techniques to prepare students for their annual mooting exercises.

The Moot Court is the ideal arena for our mooting teams to practise their advocacy skills and enhance their confidence in participating in local and regional mooting competitions.
