Alumni Talk Inspires Students on Career Pathways in Law and Business
The Department of Law and Business organised an alumni talk on 27 March 2026, from 17:45 to 19:00, in RLB 502. The event featured three alumni speakers: Ms. Aimee Cheng, a solicitor and 2016 graduate; Mr. Christopher H. Redfield, Court Liaison Officer in the Duty Lawyer Service and a 2023 graduate; and Mr. Jonathan Lee, a 2025 graduate currently studying in the Juris Doctor programme at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
During the session, the alumni shared their career and study journeys after graduation, reflecting on how the programme had prepared them for professional practice and further studies. They also offered practical advice on career planning, dealing with challenges after graduation, and the skills and attitudes students should develop for their future paths. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where students engaged actively with the speakers and gained valuable insights into different career and study options in the legal field.
