Visit to SQICMC and SCIA

On 20 June 2025, our Department undertook an insightful visit to two alternative dispute resolution (ADR) centres in Shenzhen: the Shenzhen Qianhai International Commercial Mediation Center (SQICMC) and the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA). During the visit, our Department had a meeting with SQICMC to discuss recent development in mediation law and practices across China and Hong Kong SAR. At SCIA, we gained valuable insights into its contributions to advancing international arbitration in China, particularly its current efforts under the Belt and Road Initative. We extend our gratitude to both organizations for their warm reception and look forward to future collaboration.
