Fan Yi, Graduate, 2025
I graduated in 2025 and am now pursuing a Juris Doctor degree. SYU has been my home for the past five years, including a year of exchange study, and I am deeply grateful for everything and everyone I’ve encountered along the way. The thoughtfully designed curriculum and dedicated professors have provided me with a strong foundation in legal knowledge. Through their guidance, I discovered my passion for the law and gained the confidence to continue my legal studies in Hong Kong.
At SYU, students receive both theoretical and practical legal training. Courses such as Contract Law and Criminal Law equip us with the fundamental knowledge required of future legal practitioners and lay a solid foundation for those pursuing a career in law. Studying law is never easy, but the professors and staff at SYU are always supportive and devoted to helping students succeed. I feel truly fortunate to have studied in such a nurturing environment, and I sincerely hope that the Department of Law and Business continues to grow and thrive in the years ahead.
